A Rare Occurance In South Georgia

We had snow yesterday!! That's pretty rare for here. My human was so excited. Hmph!! I'm glad she liked it. Because I sure DID NOT!! She made me go out in it. But I was sure that the sky was falling and ran back inside. All the while thinking " paws don't fail me now!!" It was weird. A bunch of white stuff kept coming down out there. Hmm, maybe it was the clouds falling! Yeah, that's what it was!!

New Coat

Ok, who turned out the lights?? This is me in my new coat. I had to go potty and it was raining. Mom didn't realize that once the hood got wet, that it would weigh it down over my eyes. It was cold AND wet!! She rescued me and said "Awww poor baby." But she had the nerve to laugh at me!! Just wait until you get in the shower next mom. I'll turn off the hot water. Hehehe

It's Snowing In South Ga.!!

My human is all excited, but I can't figure out why. She keeps saying that it's snowing. What is snow? I've never heard that word before. And my human keeps going from door to door, window to window, looking out. What does she keep looking at? And she keeps saying that she hopes it will come down harder. And said something about taking me out in it. Is this something I should be scared about?

Squirrel Party!!

I want to tell ya'll about a squirrel party back during the summer. Me and my mom were out so I could make sure that all was right in my outside territory. We rounded a corner....and right there in the middle of the sidewalk , was a bunch of squirrels having a big party!! I ran as fast as I could. It's hard to run very fast because I have to pull my mom along in her chair. Anyway, I finally got close enough, and went airborne. Yeeee haaaa!!!! I landed right in the middle of their party, hehehehe!! But those bushy tailed rascals pulled a magic trick on me. They took off in all different directions. My head almost snapped off trying to decide which one to chase.....And then they all magically disappeared!! Dang it, I had my mouth all set for some fried squirrel. They taste just like chicken, you know.

It's Too Dang Cold!!

I don't know about any of you. But I HATE cold weather!! I'm a miniature rat terrier. So my fur is very thin. So thin,in fact, that you can see my pink skin underneath. I have my own closet. And it's full of warm clothes. So I wear a different outfit every day. That helps keep me warm!
That's not the only reason I hate cold weather though. It's also because it keeps me and my human mom indoors. My mom has to get around in an electric wheelchair. So I love to hook my leash to it, and pull her around outdoors. Or sometimes I will drive the chair. I miss going down to the pond to watch the ducks and geese. Hmm, I bet they taste just like chicken! There are a lot of squirrels around here too. They make me so dang mad! They get on our porch and stand up, and taunt me through the glass of the storm door! I want one so bad. I bet they taste just like chicken! And then there is enemy number one... the postman! He has the nerve to drive that funny looking box on wheels right through my territory. I can't chase him because it's too cold to go out. Hmm, I bet he tastes just like chicken too!! Dog gone it, now I've gone and made myself hungry. Time to remind mom that it's snack time!
